Power Quality Expert was established as a specialist provider power quality surveys, harmonics surveys and energy load profiling surveys for the electrical contracting industry.  We expanded our scope of services to include provision for power quality training and seminars to reflect a growing interest in power quality and energy efficiency with the introduction of the 18th Edition wiring regulations Amendment 2 to include Chapter 82 Prosumer low-voltage electrical installations along with concepts originally introduced in Appendix 17 Energy Efficiency. To embrace the shift in working practices of many modern businesses of remote working, Power Quality Clinic was developed to enhance our existing online presence from our original Power Quality Health Check portal developed and launched in 2018.  The new Power Quality Clinic portal builds on our original formula of allowing contractors and engineers the ability to remotely upload power quality and energy analyser data to us for interpretation and report production for them to present to their own clients.  The Power Quality Clinic now allows for us to offer remote consultation on a case by case basis to clients and their customers, who can now interact with Power Quality Expert for advice, analysis and power quality reporting through the cloud based portal. Since 2016 Power Quality Expert are the authorised representative and official import agents for some of Europe’s premier test and measurement and power quality solution companies including:

• Sonel S.A.  – Authorised representative and official import agent since 2016
• Electrex Akse srl – Authorised representative and official import agent since 2019
• Elspec –  Authorised representative and official import agent since 2024.

All three companies products compliment each other in the power quality and energy sectors enabling us to utilise all the manufacturers interests in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  The range of test equipment, sub-metering, energy management systems, power factor correction and power quality solutions we support in our portfolio complements our main company activities and are available direct or can be supplied through our nationwide supply chain network of specialist distributors and wholesalers.
